Loudspeaker Manufacturing: Five YASHWEI Films and a Buyer’s Checklist
Watch five YASHWEI loudspeaker manufacturing films and learn what to ask about cabinet construction, amplification, measurements and packing before ordering.

YASHWEI's manufacturing film collection now follows five products through the workshop: the L6 line array, R1 powered line array, R2 and R5 powered subwoofers, and R6 stage monitor. The films show cabinet work, component installation, test setup and packing, with English process descriptions.
For audio integrators, rental companies and distributors evaluating a loudspeaker manufacturer, production footage is a useful starting point. This guide connects each film to the documents and questions that help turn a factory view into a practical product evaluation.
Choose a manufacturing film
- L6RPTKFS-LA: line array manufacturing — follow the existing eight-stage presentation from design through packing.
- R1RPTK-FS-LA: powered line array manufacturing — see cabinet production, internal wiring, amplifier-module and driver installation, measurement setup and transport-case packing.
- R2RPTK-FS-SW: powered subwoofer manufacturing — follow cabinet preparation, amplifier-module and driver installation, measurement setup, protective wrapping and carton packing.
- R5RPTK-FS-SW: powered subwoofer manufacturing — view cabinet work, amplifier installation, driver assembly, testing setup and transport-case packing.
- R6CPT-FS-SM: stage monitor manufacturing — view cabinet assembly, finishing, driver installation, measurement setup and protective packaging.
Cabinet machining and assembly: ask about the delivered configuration
The films show panels being machined and assembled into loudspeaker enclosures. Surface preparation and spray coating follow before components are fitted. When comparing a sample with a proposed order, request the model-specific construction details, dimensions, weight and finish specification. A visible process does not establish a material grade, coating durability rating or dimensional tolerance.
Use the exact model name in your inquiry. For the products with existing detail pages, start with R1, R2 or R5, then request the current technical documentation for the configuration under discussion.
Amplifier and driver installation: separate the loudspeaker from the complete system
R1, R2 and R5 are powered products. Their films include amplifier-module installation. Confirm the actual unit's input connections, mains requirements, control functions and available processing before selecting mixers, cabling or power distribution.
The R6 is a passive stage monitor. Its measurement and control-software sequence should not be read as evidence of an amplifier or DSP built into the cabinet. Request the external amplifier requirements and proposed processing settings as part of the system quotation.
Measurement footage: request the conditions behind the numbers
The films show test preparation and measurement or control software. Screens visible in a production film are not a substitute for a model-specific test report. Ask for frequency-response data, the measurement conditions, maximum-output test method and relevant processing settings. Compare like-for-like documents rather than treating a screenshot as a complete performance specification.
For help reviewing supplied plots, read Reading Loudspeaker Frequency Response Curves. For the L6 process in more detail, see Inside the L6 Build.
Packing: agree on what is included in your order
The R1 and R5 films show transport cases; the R2 and R6 films show protective packaging and cartons. These are the arrangements shown in the filmed sequences, not a statement that every order includes the same accessories. Confirm cases, covers, foam, spare parts, package dimensions and shipping weight in the quotation.
